La Art Kunstmesse di Innsbruck, che da oltre 20 anni cura fiere con passione arriva a Salisburgo.
Da dal 22 al 25 giugno 2017 la prima edizione presso il polo fieristico di Salisburgo.
Già in occasione del Giubileo della ART, precisamente la 20° ART nel mese di gennaio di un anno fa, Johanna Penz, direttrice della manifestazione e proprietaria della ART Kunstmesse GMBH, aveva espresso molto apertamente la sua intenzione di allargare gli orizzonti della fiera portando la ART in altre città. Dopo un anno il suo desiderio è diventato realtà. Tutto è pronto. Nel mese di giugno 2017 Johanna Penz inaugurerà la prima edizione della ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International presso il polo fieristico di Salisburgo. “Salisburgo è sempre stata in assoluto la destinazione dei miei sogni. La città di per sé è già sinonimo di amore per l’arte, e questo in tutti i settori interessati. La ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International rappresenta il coronamento del nostro desiderio di portare per la prima volta a Salisburgo un buon mix di gallerie e mercanti di opere d’arte nazionali e internazionali. Un’offerta all’insegna della novità per Salisburgo e regioni circostanti, l’idea è del tutto simile a quella portata avanti ad Innsbruck dove sappiamo bene come approcciare e stupire da oltre vent’anni chi si avvicina per la prima al mondo degli amanti dell’arte come pure collezionisti esperti” afferma Penz mettendo a segno questa mossa vincente. Il programma della ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International si concentra principalmente sull’arte contemporanea e il classico moderno, “esponiamo anche pregiati pezzi d’antiquariato dei secoli scorsi“. Con una fiera a Salisburgo ed una a Innsbruck l’ambiziosa direttrice desidera creare la prima piattaforma per la vendita di opere d’arte nell’Austria occidentale. Con il lancio della ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International ad inizio estate Penz sospenderà per il momento la ART di primavera originariamente pensata per Innsbruck. “Poiché la fiera di Salisburgo aprirà i battenti prima di quanto era stato pensato, per la prima volta a Innsbruck avremo solo la fiera invernale. Pertanto la prossima ART Innsbruck aprirà di nuovo i battenti a gennaio 2018.”

70 espositori – galleristi e artisti provenienti dai paesi più diversi – presentano dipinti, grafiche originali, sculture, fotografie, nuovi media nonché mobili antichi, tappeti antichi, e altri oggetti pregiati.

The ART Kunstmesse GmbH, which has been running the ART Innsbruck for over 20 years, is now also taking off in Salzburg. Already in June 2017 (22 to 25) the first edition of the ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International will take place in the Salzburg Exhibition Center.
It was at the anniversary ART fair, namely the 20th ART Innsbruck in January a year ago, that Johanna Penz, fair organizer and owner of the ART Kunstmesse GmbH, openly talked about her plans to expand her trade fair concept and to establish the ART in other locations as well. Only one year later, this idea is becoming a reality. Already in June 2017 (22 to 25), she will launch the first edition of the ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International in the Salzburg Exhibition Center. “All along, Salzburg has been my absolutely desired destination. The city per se is synonymous with art sense, and this is true in every respect. Introducing the ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International, we want to bring a good mix of local and international galleries and art dealers to Salzburg for the first time. “A new fresh art offering for Salzburg and its surrounding regions, quite similar to our concept in Innsbruck, where we have been able to attract and to inspire beginners among art lovers as well as experienced collectors for over twenty years now”, says Penz about her coup. The program of the ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International is primarily focusing on contemporary art and classical modernism, “but we also show fine antiques of the recent centuries.” Salzburg and Innsbruck as a twin pack is the springboard for the ambitious exhibition maker to become number one among the art sales platforms in Western Austria. However, the launch of the ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International in early summer is the reason for Penz to suspend the planned spring ART in Innsbruck for the present. “By including the Salzburg fair into the portfolio earlier as intended, we are currently maintaining only the winter date in Innsbruck.” Therefore, the next ART Innsbruck will take place in January 2018.
The ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International shows international contemporary art, classical modernism and antiques.
Almost 70 exhibitors – gallery owners and art dealers from various nations – present paintings, original graphics, sculptures, photography, new media, as well as antique furniture, antique rugs and other treasures.
