SPECIAL EXHIBITION I
Vladimir Valentsov, Classic painting – exhibition-Sequel
At the ART Innsbruck 2013, the russian neo-impressionist Vladimir Valentsov got presented for the first time. At this time it was an Austrian premiere: Because Valentsov, who is one the most important contemporary artists in Russian and got actually charged for an exhibition in the Kreml, till that moment he got never seen in Austria before, anyhow he got represented in numerous collections and museums in France, Italy and Spain. Valentsovs virtuosic painted neo-impressionistic landscape paintings and still life, were because of that also focused by art collectors at the ART Innsbruck.
On the other hand he discovered while his stay in Innsbruck, like a lot of his fellow countryman, his love for Tyrol, an started immediately to paint and returned again in September to his loved “magical” St. Anton, to hold the light, air and colours of the Indian summer on canvas. “It was quite difficult, but I really wanted to catch this miracle of nature and colour”, said Valentsov about his St. Anton series “… the colours of the Äthers… Colour Tyrol”, that he will represent, at the coming 18. Edition of ART Innsbruck from 20.-23. February 2014, to his audience. “I am more than exited to learn there and then, if I really able to reveal the colours of Tyrol.”
The exhibition is promoted as last year of the Russian electronics company M.Video.
SPECIAL EXHIBITION II
“Le Corbusier & The Authentic Icons” curated and arranged by Clemens Rhomberg, Gallery Rhomberg, Innsbruck
At the this year’s special exhibition the Gallery Rhomberg presents design- and art objects of the prominent architect and artist Le Corbusier, attended from the design classics of superlative.
Design & Art – a great Couple – the architect Le Corbusier is rightly called one of the greatest of the past century, this artist was able to demonstrate the perfect connection between design and art. The gallery Rhomberg present at the this year’s Art Innsbruck exclusive the legendary facility objects of the architects and artists, who understood it to design objects which are reduced to their basic, which are compatible to the normal course of habitation and connected tradition and innovation.
In addition there are going to be shown more design objects of his famous contemporaries, like Gio Ponti, Vico Magistretti, Gerrit T. Rieveld, Meret Oppenheim, Mario Bellini or Charlotte Perriand, at the ART Innsbruck.
Another height at the special show is the exhibition of the graphic-series “Série Panurge” and “Cortège” by Le Corbusiers out of the years 1960-1962. The gallery Rhomberg present during the special exhibition the lithographs of the artist and shows again like ever since many years that design furniture and art represent the perfect connection.
